All on the first floor, these rooms are the original principal bedrooms at Knockendarroch. Larger than Classic rooms with higher ceilings and superb Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire views enjoyed through large windows. The modern en-suite bathrooms have a shower over the bath. There are large armchairs and binoculars to enjoy the views. Recent improvements to our Premier Rooms include Nespresso machines (for outstanding in-room coffee), luxurious bath robes and bedroom slippers.

The modern extension which was added to the East gable of the house in 1996 has been converted into two rather splendid Suites. At 45 square meters each, these are our biggest and best rooms in the Main House. There are spectacular views across Pitlochry to the hills of Highland Perthshire from seven south facing windows. The Suites feature walk-in showers as well as baths and one of the rooms has ground floor access.
Other features of interest include original art, a nespresso machine, a 50 inch and a 40 inch smart television, a silent drinks cooler, velour bath robes, a table and chairs in the window, binoculars to make the most of the views and of course the separate lounge area with both a sofa and occasional chair.

Rooms not available for your desired dates
Bright and airy, these rooms are located on all three floors of the hotel. Four of our Classic rooms have showers over the bath and two have a walk-in shower only (including our ground floor Classic room). Seating varies from occasional chairs and window benches to small sofas and all have been recently updated with solid oak furniture.
The Garden Rooms are bright and airy and are decorated and furnished in a neutral palate. Laminated birchply, leather and wool. What's not to love? Underfloor heating and superb insulation makes for a comfortable and stable ambient temperature whatever the weather. Each bedroom has a patio door accessing a small private garden enclosed by larch cladding and bright green laurel hedging. Ideal for enjoying our perfect Perthshire weather (!?). King sized beds in all rooms and the en-suites are all shower over bath. Nespresso machines. robes and slippers.

PLEASE NOTE - The entrance to the Garden Rooms is 60m from the front door of the main hotel. There are two flights of steps (20 and 16) on the way. Luggage can be dropped off in the lower car park just 16 steps above the entrance to Larch House.
Similarly sized to our Classic rooms, these rooms are situated on the top floor and command the best panoramic views to the south, east and west over Pitlochry and the hills of Highland Perthshire. Small private balconies and binoculars allow you to make the most of the views. The en-suite bathrooms have a shower over the bath.
The Larch House Suite consists of the entire upper floor of the house. This a big room. Around 80m2 in total so plenty of room to spread out and relax. Perfect for a longer stay at the hotel. A superking bed (6ft wide) and plenty of seating options from which to take in the big views from the epic windows. A free standing bath under large roof windows offers wonderful vertical views of our lovely old Scots Pine in the grounds. Nespresso machine, robes and slippers. Walk-in shower.
